First, I want to thank everyone who took the time to play this little demo! I've always wanted to do something like this and even though it didn't turn out exactly as planned, I got something completed. With that being said, now let's move on to the future of this project! 

I've had some time to think and I've decided that I'm going to release episodic updates. Breaking it down this way will just be easier on me since I am writing/creating assets/coding this all on my own. As you could probably tell, I'm not the best at creating backgrounds, so I'm looking to redo the ones I made with the help of some friends. I also plan to commission another friend to work on a soundtrack for this game. For now, I will continue to use music licensed under Creative Commons. 

 All in all, I'm super excited about what the future holds! 

What to expect from the first update? 

I don't have a solid date at the moment, however, I do want to give myself enough time to get out the quality you all deserve. For full transparency, I will be traveling in the summer for work, so I can't prioritize this game as this is more of a passion project. The quickest I could have the first chapter out would probably be around mid-August, although I can't make any promises. With that out of the way, I will share the desired features I want available for the first chapter.

• Gallery - for all the CGIs and mini-theater images
• Updated GUI - I want to give the game a bit more character.
• More sprites - This means more expressions, more variety, and a clearer look! The ones I have now were made under the pressure of time, so I want to go back and clean them up. 
• Clearer Art - Again, a lot of my art was rushed and it looks that way. So for the update, I want to make things look how I envisioned.
• Storylines - The main story will progress but I also want to start working on the intros to the character-specific routes. (also fix all the spelling errors 😭 )
• And some surprises! 

I've got my work cut out for me, but I'm extremely excited nonetheless. I'll try my best to keep everyone updated on a bi-weekly to monthly basis.
